Activity: This event is designed to reach the hundreds of people mailing tax returns at the Downtown Tulsa Post Office. Tulsa musicians in various combinations of individual and group performances will play as Tulsans pay taxes - why not a little entertainment for such an expensive day - it may be the best value available. Typically, traffic is stop-and-go as many push to have their income tax return posted before the midnight deadline. In tribute to those paying the bills, the Tulsa Tea Party Players will entertain with folk, rock, country, and new folk songs - published and original material. No elected political figures will speak at this event, but all are welcome to attend - Libertarian, Republican, and Democrat. Citizens are invited to speak (under 3 minutes each) or their comments on the current state of the nation may be read between musical numbers.
