I was listening to the Glenn Beck Radio show this morning, and he replayed an interview he did on the TV program with the Attorney General of the State of Connecticut Richard Blumenthal. This guy is going after the AIG bonus recipients, and trying to take the money that they earned under contract thru AIG. These contracts were signed and paid in the State of New York, but he is going after them based on the fact that they were paid in Connecticut. Now, I'm not a lawyer, or interstate commerce expert, but I do believe that monies that are crossing state line like this, would be under Federal jurisdiction, NOT the State of Connecticut.

South Tulsa TeaParty
• A combined group of citizens from Tulsa, Broken Arrow and Jenks are organizing a TEA Party rally at La Fortune Park south end 61st & Yale on April 15 at noon. It's no coincidence that it's the final day tax returns are to be mailed. The TEA Party is part of a national movement to protest the spending of trillions of dollars which will leave our great-grandchildren a debt they must pay. Since they are being obligated but are too young to vote it amounts to 'taxation without representation'.
Nationwide rallies are being promoted by American Family Association. Rallies are scheduled in over 1,525 cities across the nation. More information about the rallies can be found on the Internet at TEAPartyDay.com.
Locally for more information, interview, etc please contact me. I have an interesting sidebar story about how our Constitutional Rights to assemble and to access public property were denied and post-poned.
Thanks for covering this event.

Cape Coral Florida Cancels TeaParty!!
This is an outrage! The city of Cape Coral Florida has, in effect, cancelled the Tea Party scheduled there, by requiring that the organizers take out an Insurance policy to protect the city from damages that may be caused if "too many" people show up for the protest! By requiring the event coordinator to take out insurance, they are basically saying that the right to "peaceful assembly" & "redress of grievances" is only allowed if you have fewer than 500 people show up. But, if you have more than that, then you must take out an insurance policy against what others might do!

What Is the TeaParty Movement?
The Tea Party effort is a movement aimed at restoring the basic free-market principles our country was built on. The Constitution, for the most part, is being ignored by our current government and we intend on working together to correct the problem.
The Tea Party effort is a grassroots, collaborative volunteer organization made up of every day American citizens with a burning desire to restore freedom.
It was only one act in a litany of the new administration’s efforts to reach into the pockets of Americans to spend our way out of a crisis that uncontrolled spending and intrusive government controls caused in the first place.
Grass Roots Americans decided this is too much! and like the over-taxed Colonies over 200 years ago they are stepping forth to show their displeasure. To President Obama and Congress these Americans shout in unison “ARE YOU LISTENING PRESIDENT OBAMA?”
We ask for your support. On Friday, February 27th at 11am at Veteran's Park 21st& Boulder, Tulsans from all walks of life rallied together responding to CNBC’s Rick Santelli’s call to protest this gross negligence in government spending. as part of the Nationwide Chicago Tea Party they were joined by Americans in New York City, Washington, DC, Houston, Los Angeles, and Chicago, in a show of united opposition to the Obama Administration’s bailout plan.
